any way to get a general 'idea' of the beta project emailed to us personally so we can guage the value of being a 'pro' member?

Thanks for writing about the beta test. I will be happy to tell you more about the product once we launch. In the meantime, let me know if there is anything I can do to help with something else SEOmoz related.

BTW: People who sign up as PRO members this week WILL be able to participate in the beta tester "contest". PRO members will also be invited to preview other new tools in the future. However, it is important to note that simply signing up does not mean they will automatically become a beta tester. We will be choosing the winners based on random probability and by their Rock Paper Scissors choice. :-)
