One thing here is still flawed unless I'm mistaken. Blog comments are stored on both disqus and at the remote blogs? This creates duplicate content . Thats not a plus for SEO. I'm not really sure but possibly if the comments are stored at disqus they are not readable by the search engines.

I work for Orange County SEO CA. We have discussed about different SEO techniques and we talked about DisQus 2.0 too. With the actual improvement it may conquer a few more miles on the internet, but DisQus should work even more to improve other aspects too.

let me say this. i think, disqus is like an online storage of comments. haha. i have to clear it myself. disqus has just collaborated with social networking sites for private storage purposes. as we, the user post a comment onto others' account, the comment we posted also have its copy in the disqus. get it??

Each comment made on a site shows up as an update for the page it's left on. Originally, Disqus comments didn't provide this benefit to bloggers. Disqus 2.0 does. Allowing blog comments is a search engine ranking tip that many bloggers ascribe to, as it promotes commenting, and counts as updates to their pages, helping them increase their search engine ranking.
