Comscore’s Verdict: Holiday Online Sales Brisk

Although the gain was not as much as the 26% jump last year, online spending for the holidays went up 19% since November. Spending between Thanksgiving and Christmas went up 21% over last year.

It's good to see that some etailers are still doing well. I wonder how well online sales for pre-lit Christmas trees will be compared to last year?

The day after Turkey Day, the family decorates the beautiful Christmas tree, we gently arrange our Christmas tree ornaments, add our sentimentals to the Christmas wreath that adorns our front door and then test out our Icicle Lights for the house. After this ritual, I sit at the computer for hours on end and shop for about 80% of our gifts. I have no intention of changing my tradition this year.
