Nothing beats Tinyurl for shortening URLs on Twitter and Facebook, no wonder a lot of spammers are using their service simply because they're the best at it.

i believe that tinypic is the fastest at the moment, althought bit.ly is going through a great phase now that twitter implemented it

TinyURL is the best. I was trying other service a few days ago for shortening my URL. After a few hours when I tried to visit again I found that my URL has actually been deleted. I was surprised. Then I tried with TinyURL. So, far it's good.
